Interior paint peeling is a sign that moisture is entering the home. While other explanations are possible, it's likely that this comes from the roof. Shingles that need to be repaired, in the meantime, will continuously let water leak into the house. This can lead to mold forming within the home.

5. Higher Bills

A roof that needs to be repaired or replaced can cause fluctuations in utility bills. Heating may be more expensive during the winter and cooling may be more expensive during the summer because the air from inside leaks out.
